Step 1 — Self-serve exports from the web dashboard
- Roster/enrolment — children, rooms, family contacts.
- Attendance — widest available date range, exported per room and per child.
- Billing & payments — invoices and transactions per family, summary and detail. Tax season and payment disputes both want the detail.
- Reports/documentation — export or print-to-PDF the development documentation you care about (portfolios, learning stories) — this is Lillio's strength and the thing programs most regret losing.
Step 2 — The support request
From the owner/admin email, request: bulk export of all photos and videos, complete daily-report history, and anything not exposed in dashboard reports. Be specific ("all media for all classrooms, full history, delivered as a download link"). Allow two to three weeks before your intended cancellation date.

- Families can save individual photos, but program-wide bulk export generally goes through a support request from the account owner. Ask while your subscription is active and allow a couple of weeks.
- What data should I keep after leaving Lillio?
- Roster and contacts, attendance, billing and payment history (6 years for CRA), daily report/development documentation you want for portfolios, immunization and allergy notes, staff records, and photos/videos.
- Does Lillio delete my data after I cancel?
- Expect your access to end with the subscription and retention to follow their policies. The safe assumption for any platform: export everything before the end date rather than relying on post-cancellation retrieval.
